About the Role

As our Front Office/ Events Coordinator you will be handling enquiries and reservations, greeting guests on arrival, explaining & booking the diverse range of activities and packages available, handling check in and check out and being available to ensure our guests enjoy all aspects of their stay.  Your ability to get things organised, your great communication skills and your confidence with learning new software packages will all help you succeed in this role. 

You will also be responsible for the setup and coordination of conferences and events working in conjunction with the Head Office Sales team to maximise sales and room nights booked. 

Apart from being a great person you will need to be available to work a full time roster that includes weekends with two days off mid-week, and be able to demonstrate that you have:

  • Strong administration experience and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in conference and events
  • Ability to learn new software including a reservations system
  • A passion for hospitality - food, wine and great experiences!
  • Good time management and excellent communication skills
  • Great ability to recommend and up sell activities 
  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage
  • Ability to  manage social media
  • Results driven and passion for success
  • High level of personal presentation

Candidates with two or more years experience in a similar role will be viewed favourably. The nature of this role requires full availability to work weekends as required.
