The Balfour Kitchen is located at Spicers Balfour Hotel in the fashionable suburb of New Farm just minutes from the Brisbane city centre. The Balfour Kitchen delivers a unique Queensland dining experience on the open verandas of the hotel, and is a recent recipient of one Chef Hat in the 2017 Brisbane Times Good Food Guide.
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the kitchen whilst delivering an 'industry best' dining experience for our inhouse and external guests. Ideally, you will have experience in the following areas:
As the Head Chef, you will be leading a small, multi-skilled team and it is expected that you will lead by example to ensure the overall guest experience continues to exceed expectations. Your responsibility will be for the delivery of all food experiences for the property including: restaurant; bar; in-room dining; functions and events.
