About the Opportunity

Currently we have a full time opportunity available for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager to join the team at Spicers Hidden Vale, Grandchester. You will be well organised and professionally presented with a strong understanding of Housekeeping operations and requirements. 

Some of your more specific responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing rosters for staff and monitoring hours;
  • Ensuring availability of linen (laundered on and off site) as required;
  • Making regular inspections of accommodation to ensure that all cleaning is carried out to the required standard to quality;
  • Training new staff through on the job training, and maintaining standards among existing staff;
  • Ensuring security and safety for guests and their property (ie managing in room protocols for servicing occupied rooms, managing lost property);
  • Communicating regularly with respective departments and management to ensure smooth, professional housekeeping operations;
  • Ordering and managing housekeeping consumables; and
  • Managing staff uniforms and onsite laundry.

You will be an experienced staff leader, with well developed communication, training and time management skills, with the ability to plan future staffing and work requirements.

You will have a professional attitude and high attention to detail, with the capacity to work quickly and under pressure without compromising quality. Above all, you will constantly strive to achieve challenging personal and team objectives.
