About the Role

Spicers Retreats has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our Head Office team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Group Sales Director, you will play a fundamental role in supporting our Sales Team by sourcing new client opportunities, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales through both outbound calls and inbound lead follow ups. You will also assist with sales and administration across key market segments to ensure smooth running of the overall sales process.

As well as this, your performance will be measured upon your ability to: 

  • Direct qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team members for further development and closure;
  • Secure face to face meetings and/or business proposal opportunities for our Business Development Managers with potential leads, key players and current clients;
  • Assist in the preparation of group conference and incentive proposals on behalf of all Spicers Retreats properties;
  • Administer accurate records in CRM (inputting new leads, account updates, new business opportunities and activity reports);
  • Maintain up-to-date information on all customer interactions in the salesforce CRM database;
  • Participate in select sales activity including local networking and trade events;
  • Present as a professional representative of the Spicers Retreats, both to the industry and our external business customers;

 

About You!

To be considered for this role, you will be a proven Business Development professional with extensive experience in a similar role within the Hospitality Industry. You'll be abreast of market trends and competitor activity so that you can make sure our clients’ needs are accommodated for and sales targets are met.

An outstanding communicator who is professionally presented, you will be able to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders with ease, influence and authority. You'll work closely with key clients, so it's imperative that you are able to maintain positive relationships and a comprehensive level of product knowledge across each of the properties within Spicers Retreats.
