About Us

Established in 2000, Spicers Retreats is an award-winning organization consisting of eight luxury properties spread across Queensland and NSW.  The business has doubled in size over the last five years and has huge growth plans.

Spicers Potts Point, our stylish new property features 20 rooms, an in-house bar and gorgeous courtyard area. Just a short walk to trendy cafes, Sydney city and harbour and set amongst a mix of historic art deco and modern architecture, Spicers Potts Point exudes an effortless blend of classic Sydney heritage character with a fresh contemporary feel.

 As our Front Office Attendant, your priority will be to ensure an exceptional guest experience – each and every stay. Some of your duties will include:

  • Provide a warm, welcoming arrival at check-in;
  • Go above and beyond to exceed your guests’ expectations during their stay;
  • Ensure a positive departure experience with maximum efficiency and minimal fuss;
  • Provide general administration and financial support to the business;
  • Assist with Food & Beverage tasks in our in-house bar and during breakfast service;
  • Assist with accommodation reservations and enquiries.

In addition to the above you must have:

  • Significant front office experience within a high-end or luxury hotel environment;
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively within a team comprised of different personalities and skill-sets;
  • The ability to learn new software and systems;
  • Immaculate presentation standards;
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
  • The ability to recommend and upsell additional products, services, packages and promotions;
  • Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required;
  • A current RSA;
  • … and most importantly, a genuine passion for ‘everything hospitality’ – good food, great wine and awesome experiences!
