Stunningly situated on a mountaintop in Queensland’s Scenic Rim, Spicers Peak Lodge is as far from the pressure of everyday life as it’s possible to be. Within the lodge is The Peak Restaurant, awarded two Chef Hats in the 2016 and 2017 Brisbane Times Good Food Guide awards, the 2015 Australian Good Food Guide awards and recognised as Australasia's Best Culinary Boutique Hotel 2015.

Our kitchen team believes in hearty food, full of flavour, colour and a touch of spice. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Breakfast Cook to join the kitchen team on a part time basis.

About the opportunity:

As the Peak Lodge Breakfast Cook you will work closely with the Head Chef ensuring our guests receive an exceptional breakfast experience like no other. 

Some of your duties will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation for breakfast service
  • Delivering high quality breakfasts
  • Assisting with the preparation and delivery of lunch and dinner service as required
  • General kitchen cleaning duties

In addition to the above you must have:

  • Experience in commercial cooking;
  • A genuine passion for cooking breakfast;
  • A drive to learn and willingness to follow direction;
  • The ability to manage your own time and work unsupervised;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with our guests at all times.

Please note - formal qualifications are not required if the successful candidate has adequate experience
