About the Role:

As the Director of Marketing of Spicers Retreats, you will report directly to the Managing Director, and be responsible for planning, development and implementation of all the organisation’s marketing strategies, marketing communications and public relations activities, both external and internal. Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of marketing, communications and public relations. Directs the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations team and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the business.

To be considered for this role, you will also have:

  • Proven experience as a Director of Marketing or with a similar role in the Hospitality Industry;
  • Masters of Marketing qualification;
  • Experience with Digital Marketing, Data Analysis and Marketing Tech;
  • Proven track record of passionate customer advocacy;
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team capable of reaching and exceeding agreed KPI’s;
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.);
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods;
  • Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels;
  • Experience in Direct Communications and Audience Segmentation;
  • A proven leader with both creative and analytical capabilities;
  • Experience with leading and working with Sales Teams will be highly considered;
