The Location:

Homage restaurant – set in a historic homestead, on 12,000 acres of Australian bushland at Spicers Hidden Vale (just an hour from Brisbane).  

There is a purity and respect for the land and produce in all that we present at Homage. Our chefs cook from an outdoor coal pit, smokehouse, wood-fire and rotisserie. We have an 89 bed market garden, orchard, bee hives and free range farm onsite, meaning that much of the produce is from Hidden Vale itself and anything that’s not, is collected direct from nearby farms. The experience is hatted and awarded restaurant of the year two years running for Spicers Retreats as well as holding a Two Glass status with Gourmet Traveller. There is a strong philosophy and story to tell ... and that’s where you come in.  

The opportunity:

After over three years of wonderful service and career growth, our Restaurant Manager is taking on an international experience, opening up a rare opportunity for you to grab hold of.

The role of the Restaurant Manager is to lead a passionate and highly skilled team to bring the Homage experience to life, across multiple stunning indoor and outdoor spaces. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Curating an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish;
• Ongoing training and development of the Homage restaurant team; and
• Demonstration of solid business acumen by achieving set KPIs and targets.

The person we’re looking for:

A Restaurant Manager with –

• a passion for people, food and wine;
• a desire and ability to lead a strong team;
• proven leadership experience;
• immaculate presentation;
• a great sense of humour and humility;
• a desire to learn from the best in the industry;
• events experience would be highly regarded.
