The opportunity:

We are seeking 2 x Sales and Customer Service Superstars to join our Group Reservations Team. We have one Full Time opportunity available and a 6 month Maternity Leave cover available. In this role you will act as the first point of contact for our guests and will play an integral part in driving our business to the next level.  Day to day you will be responsible for responding to our guest enquiries via phone and email.  Your absolute passion for our product and enthusiastic sales approach will ensure you succeed in converting each enquiry to a retreat booking. At the same time you will be maximising revenue by up selling our fantastic food and beverage packages, spa and active experiences.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a flair for selling, a warm and friendly nature and a passion for getting things right the first time.  Your professional phone manner, excellent communication skills, in-depth product knowledge, ability to connect with people and desire to hit targets will also ensure your success.  You will need to be highly organised and solution focused to keep up with our fun, energetic and fast paced team.  Solid computer skills and knowledge of Google, GMAIL Word and Excel is highly beneficial.    

Some of your specific job functions will include:

  • Converting enquiries into reservations through demonstrating confidence in our product, offers and creating tailored packages 
  • In putting reservations and details into Room key
  • Liaising with properties and restaurants
  • Drafting correspondence
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Run shift reports and check daily transaction balance
  • Open and close of a shift

Flexibility is required to work rostered shifts Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 7pm and full Training in our Property Management System will be provided.
