The Location:
Stunningly situated on a mountaintop in Queensland’s Scenic Rim, Spicers Peak Lodge is as far from the pressure of everyday life as it’s possible to be. Within the lodge is the award winning Peak Restaurant. Awarded one Chef Hat in the 2018 Australia Good Food Guide Awards the Peak Restaurant is inspired by the fresh local produce and regional wines of the Scenic Rim and Granite Belt. The Peak Restaurant offers contemporary Australian á la carte and degustation menus to deliver an unforgettable culinary taste sensation.
The opportunity:
Due to continuous growth and consistent high performance of our award winning retreat we have an opportunity for a passionate hospitality guru to join our team in the position of Fulltime Food and Beverage Professional.
The role of the Food & Beverage Professional is to deliver an unforgettable dining experience to our guests whilst bringing the Peak magic to life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish;
- Offering advice on menu items and accompanying wines;
- Ensuring immaculate presentation and set up of the restaurant, bar and event spaces;
- Ensure guests of The Peak restaurant are treated with first priority, always
We are looking for a Food & Beverage Attendant with:
- Relevant qualifications;
- experience working in a similar establishment (fine dining, a la carte, hatted restaurant);
- A desire to learn from the best in the industry
- Passion for their craft and an interest in keeping abreast of latest trends and innovations
- a love for people, food and wine;
- Immaculate presentation standards
- Commitment to provide 5 star service
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required
- A great sense of humour and humility;
