The opportunity:

As the Front Office Professional of Spicers Balfour Hotel, your priority will be to ensure seamless operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience – each and every time. This is a Casual Opportunity for the right candidate and you must be available to work weekends.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager of Spicers Balfour Hotel, you will be responsible for providing a warm, welcoming arrival at check-in; going above and beyond to exceed your guests’ expectations during their stay; ensuring a positive departure experience with maximum efficiency and minimal fuss; providing general administration and financial support to the business; assisting with Food & Beverage tasks; and assisting with accommodation reservations and enquiries.

To be considered for this role, you will also have:

• Front office experience within a high-end or luxury hotel environment;
• The ability to learn new software and systems;
• Immaculate presentation standards;
• The ability to recommend and upsell additional products, services, packages and promotions;
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required;
• A current RSA;
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written;
• A proactive approach and positive attitude;
• .… and most importantly, a genuine passion for ‘everything hospitality’ – good food, great wine and awesome experiences!
