The Location:
Homage restaurant – set in a historic homestead, on 12,000 acres of Australian bushland at Spicers Hidden Vale (just an hour from Brisbane).
There is a purity and respect for the land and produce in all that we present at Homage. Our chefs cook from an outdoor coal pit, smokehouse, wood-fire and rotisserie. We have an 89 bed market garden, orchard, bee hives and free range farm onsite, meaning that much of the produce is from Hidden Vale itself and anything that’s not, is collected direct from nearby farms. The experience is hatted and awarded restaurant of the year two years running for Spicers Retreats as well as holding a Two Glass status with Gourmet Traveller. There is a strong philosophy and story to tell ... and that’s where you come in.
The opportunity:
Due to continuous growth and consistent high performance of our award winning retreat we have an opportunity for passionate hospitality gurus to join our team in the position of Food and Beverage Supervisor.
The role of the Food & Beverage Supervisor is to oversee the running of the restaurant and ensure that guests will have an unforgettable dining experience whilst bringing the Homage magic to life.

To be considered for this role, you will also have:
- leadership experience supervising and developing a team/s of food and beverage staff
- experience overseeing functions and events will be highly advantageous
- solid business acumen and a passion for selling and achieving targets
- immaculate presentation standards
- commitment to providing the highest quality standard of service
- availability to work evenings and weekends on a rotating roster
- .… and most importantly, a genuine passion for ‘everything hospitality’ – good food, great wine and awesome experiences!
