Spicers Retreats is recruiting for a Full Time Revenue & Systems Manager based at our head office at Fortitude Valley.

Job Description

You are analytical by nature and thrive on your high attention to detail and producing results. You are comfortable taking ownership as well as direction. Your values align with ours and you have a positive can-do attitude. In this role you will be responsible for yield management as well as hotel systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for yield management for Spicers Retreats including pricing and positioning recommendations, inventory management, reporting & data analysis
  • Produce demand forecasts and contribute to annual budget setting
  • Work in collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Director of Sales to recommend, implement and adapt strategies designed to maximise hotel revenue
  • Ensure the group has the optimal segment mix and pricing to maximise revenues and profitability
  • Manage the system facilitation for a range of systems including the Property Management System (PMS), Booking Engine & Channel Manager, Revenue Management Platform, CRM platform, OTA’s
  • Set up and load business relevant information into the required systems including new properties/rooms, inventory, rate plans, packages, wholesale & corporate contracts
  • Ensure bookings are being processed from online channels accurately and confidently resolve when issues arise
  • Successfully manage internal and external partner relations

Requirements

  • A comprehensive understanding of revenue management principles;
  • Skilled with technology and ability to learn quickly;
  • Superior attention to detail and time management skills;
  • Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Confidence in communicating data insights

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in business, revenue management or hospitality highly regarded
  • Experience in a similar role for minimum 3 years
